This specimen is a skull prepared as a teaching tool for medical students. It is presumed to be a preparation by Indian distributor Reknas Limited. The skull has sustained some damage to the right temple and back of the skull cap, and the Calvarium cut has been glued closed. It also features jaw springs for the articulation of the mandible, but they are not removable. Some hardware is missing and there is a burn mark on the bottom of the skull, and also some writing on it from its previous owner. This skull has now found its way from an educational device to the public market. Responsibly sourced, beautifully preserved, and thoughtfully selected, this skull is the perfect item for medical students, working professionals, and individuals interested in learning about osteology.
