This specimen is a skull prepared as a teaching tool for medical students. The calvarium is cut, allowing for a closer examination of the internal structures of the skull. The mandible has internal wire, and cannot be removed. Additionally, the skull has been bisected along the sagittal plane. Most of the teeth are present, with a few back molars missing. This skull is antique, dating back to the early 1900s. This skull has a grey patina and metal hardware.
